Our story
A Rensselaer pizza tradition.
Slider's Pizza, formerly Jim's, opened in 1970 on Broadway in Rensselaer and has used the same family recipe to serve the Albany area ever since. Made with fresh ingredients and tossed by hand, our pies have become a small-town tradition.
We've grown the menu over the years to add wings, hot subs, appetizers and pasta; but the pizza, and the way we make it, hasn't changed. We're a family-owned shop, and the same people you see behind the counter today have been doing this for a long time.

Yes. Same shop, same family, same recipe. Jim's Pizza opened in Rensselaer in 1970. The shop changed addresses twice and changed names once (in 2018, when Kieth Dambrose took over from his father Anthony and renamed it Slider's). The dough hasn't changed. Read the full story.
